Climate change risks and opportunities for corporates

The intensification of climate change impacts is expected to have significant operational and financial consequences for businesses, including disruptions to business continuity, work environments, and supply chains. However, it also presents opportunities for innovation in products, services, and business models, potentially leading to new revenue streams.
Proactive assessment of both physical and transition risks and opportunities related to climate change is crucial for businesses to understand their vulnerabilities and make informed decisions. Effective management of these climate risks can enhance a company’s compliance, competitive edge, and financial stability. Moreover, it can protect their reputation, facilitate necessary adaptations, and build resilience to ensure ongoing business operations.
