Substantiating Sustainability: A Business Case of genuine ESG and SFDR Compliance in Green Investments

In this talk, we will present a compelling business case for applying new ESG regulations, specifically focusing on the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) guidelines, to Green investments. The SFDR guidelines mandate that claims of being "Green" or “Sustainable” must be substantiated with specific indices and documented evidence. This goes beyond superficial branding and requires a deep integration of sustainable practices within the core operations of an enterprise. This is a proven example that Sustainability is no longer just a marketing buzzword; it has become a critical aspect of modern business strategy. To be genuinely "Green", companies must adhere to rigorous standards across ESG themes. We will explore how businesses can effectively meet these requirements, demonstrating that true sustainability drives long-term success.
