
Dr. Dimitrios N. Koufopoulos BSc, MBA, PhD, FCMI, FIC, CMBE, FRSA
Dimitrios N. Koufopoulos is currently a Visiting Professor at the School of Law, CCLS at Queen Mary University, Honorary Research Fellow at Birkbeck University of London, and the Director of the Global Online MBA Programmes in University of London. He has held numerous academic positions at Brunel University (2002-2018) and Cardiff University (1991-2002) in the UK in his over 30 years of continuous academic career. He is also an adjunct Instructor at the Hellenic Open University and supervises MSc students at the University of Glasgow and Warwick University.
Dimitrios gained his university bachelor’s degree in management from the Athens School of Economics and Business Sciences in Greece. He earned his MBA and his PhD in Strategic Planning Systems from Cardiff University. He publishes extensively in academic journals and every year papers that co-authors are presented at major conferences all over the world.
Alongside his academic career, he runs a boutique consulting firm (www.gnosisconsultants.com), providing intelligent reports and advisory services on business and management issues. In 2007, he set up the Hellenic Observatory of Corporate Governance (www.hocg.eu), where research on five distinct, important economic sectors of Greece is contacted on issues related to Corporate Governance, ESG and Sustainability. Since 2016 is a partner in www.proteas.io a business model innovation consulting firm.
