Alexandra Palli-Giannakopoulos

Alexandra Palli was born in Athens on July 1967. She holds BSc in Business Administration and Marketing management and an MSc in International Business.
From 1990 to 1995 she was the managing director “PALLIS” SA, leading stationery wholesale and retail business. From 1996 she was the managing director “PALLIS Graphic Arts Industry”. In July 2011 she became shareholder and acting vice president of “POLITY sa, Strategic Communication Consultants”. Today, she is shareholder and President of the board of “Kitheron Farms”, a dairy product industry and shareholder and CEO, LGN sa, real estate and investments company.
In June 2006 to November 2011, she was elected General Secretary, of the ACCI, the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where she was an elected member of the board since 1990. From 2016 to 2020, she was elected Vice President of the Athens Traders Association, where she was an elected member of the board since 1996. From 2004 to 2009, she was a member of the board of the “Hellenic Foreign Trade Organisation“, HEPO. From 2004-2010 she was secretary general of the “Athens tourism and economic development agency“, appointed by the Mayor of Athens, in order to assist the organisation of the Olympic Games in Greece. She is a member of the “European Union of the small and medium sized enterprises” EUMU- Hellas, the organisation of SMEs in the EU. Since 2009, she is a member of the “National Chamber Network of Women Entrepreneurs”. From 2010 to 2018, she was elected vice president, “EUROCOMMERCE”, the principal European organisation representing the retail and wholesale sectors in Europe, based in Brussels.
She was a member of Eurocommerce since 2005, representing the ACCI and ATA. She was an elected member of the Hellenic Network for Corporate Social Responsibility -CSR HELLAS- since March 2009, representing the ACCI, and on March 2012 she was re-elected and became Secretary General of the CSR HELLAS Board with its new diversified activities. Today, she is the President of CSR Hellas.
She is vice president of “XARA”, an NPO for children with special needs, including autism, cerebral palsy and mental retardation. She is President of “Dojo Tatsuo Suzuki” karate association in Athens, Greece. She was elected as an honorary member of the board of directors of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, in September 2021.
She has served as a Member of the Central Committee of “New Democracy” political party between 2004 to 2007. In June 2009 she was a candidate of the European Parliament elections for the “New Democracy” political party, in an honorary position. In June 2012 she was a candidate of the Hellenic Parliament elections for “New Democracy” political party.
She speaks English and French. She is a certified open sea diver and skipper, and a black belted wado ryu karate athlete. She is married to Nino Giannakopoulos and mother of four children.
